About Julia
I’m glad your here.
Hi, I’m Julia.
I believe in the power of relationships. I see these parts of our lives as essential tools to navigate difficult life transitions and provide greater meaning to our world. In my work with clients, I draw on the therapeutic relationship, a client’s relationship with themselves, and their relationships with others as both a mirror and a lens—to provide greater understanding of themselves, responses and patterns.
I strive to attune to each client’s life story and emotional landscape. Integrating traditional modalities and clinical insight, I support clients develop a clearer map of their inner and external worlds. Collaboratively, we track emotional responses, unmet needs, core beliefs, and relationship patterns— both in the past and present. Clients are therefore able to access meaningful insight leading to concrete action and change.
As a therapist, I strive to be a grounding presence and a safe attachment base to support the process of healing and growth. My style is direct, yet imbued with warmth and compassion so that we can sit with hard to see responses and patterns. I strive to create an intentional and meaningful space for my clients to explore complex vulnerable emotions through the use of embodied practices and emotional expression.
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy time spent in the natural world to providing a space both for inspiration and restoration. I find connection in my practice with trail running and rock climbing which have taught me the healing power of physical challenge, solitude, and connection to myself/natural world/adventure partners. I have a deeply inquisitive spirit that extends beyond my therapeutic work—manifesting in travel and creative pursuits. I find joy in artistry puzzles —from working with fabric, recycled materials, hand crafting jewelry, plant cultivation, and woodcraft.
When I'm not on the trail or the rock, I love adventuring with my two dogs, Ezra and Fjor—whether in the desert, forest, ocean side, or on the open road.

As a dually licensed clinician (LCSW/LMFT), I draw from and integrate— traditional therapeutic modalities, clinical insight, and lived experience into a practice tailored to each client’s unique needs and experiences. Through my approach I invite clients into a meaningful and evolving relationship with their inner work— cultivated collaboratively over time. Through the therapeutic process, I support clients develop a stronger and more attuned relationship with themselves. A self-reflective practice that brings them closer into alignment in their relationships and path in life.
My vision is to support each client develop a reflective self-practice —intentional/focused/holistic that nurtures awareness and balance in the ways they relate to themselves and others.
Applied within sessions and woven into client’s daily lives.
