How Can Therapy Help:

Therapy can support clients in developing greater self-awareness and skill development to address life’s challenges. It is a tool to creating a deeper understanding of the patterns that either bring us closer or further from ourselves. Once insight is established, clients work on creating new pathways in alignment with their values and purpose. A key ingredient is creating resources internal and external to navigate challenging emotions and stressors that arise.

How to Begin:

Schedule a free 15min consultation to review desired areas for support and determine level of fit for goals and style.

Intake sessions are focused on exploring client background and history, presenting issues, and therapeutic goals. During a portion of the session, we will review client onboarding paperwork, billing, and scheduling.

Accepted Insurance:

Aetna, Cigna, United Health Care, UMR, Optum, BCBS CO, and Optum Live & Work Well (EAP). If you don’t see your insurance listed please inquire to see if I accept your insurance and it is not currently listed.

Office Location:

Telehealth sessions available for clients living in Colorado, Oregon, and Utah (I’m licensed to practice as a LCSW in CO, OR, UT, and NC). A nature based therapy option may be available depending on location and time of year. Please inquire for more details. Nature based therapy refers to an appropriate outdoor location decided on by the client and therapist (ie. Hiking trail, reservoir, lake, etc).

  • Effective January 1, 2022, the No Surprises Act, which Congress passed as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, is designed to protect patients from surprise bills for emergency services at out-of-network facilities or for out-of-network providers at in-network facilities, holding them liable only for in-network cost-sharing amounts. The No Surprises Act also enables uninsured patients to receive a good faith estimate of the cost of care.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

    • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment and hospital fees.

    • Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

    • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

    • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
